    Hi everyone,

Haven’t been on for awhile. I seem to rotate obsessions .... I just acquired this Mariner. I’ve always liked Megaquartz models and love the beefy seventies cases. My watchmaker is capable of servicing it. But it’s missing the quartz plaque. Does this have a part number? Or do I have to find a donor case?

You'll need a donor as I've never seen a plaque sold separately.

Does anyone have a donor case for sale? I’ve scoured eBay. Haven’t seen anything yet.

Since these are probably the most desirable 1310 MQ32s (other than the 18k models) I'd say you're unlikely to find one easily. In fact I don't recall seeing one in the past 10'years. Even a reasonably priced Mariner is still going to be a lot of money for just a plaque...

Try and find a jeweller (a real one, goldsmith/silversmith, not somebody who sells stuff). It shouldn't be too hard as you already have the mould.

Even a dental technician could make one.
