I thought you had to own the Commander SMP to be able to order/buy it -- apparently I was wrong, though? Did they give you any trouble?
That's more of a Patek or Rolex thing. Omega will sell you just about anything.

The Commander NATO is available as stated above thru the Omega/Swatchgroup Spare Parts division. It doesn't come with the snazzy red case, extra strap pins, or anything else. $152 plus tax & shipping. You'll have to call, it can't be ordered online or via email either. But...it is a perfect match color wise for the blue SMPc, and probably most of the other blue Omega watches. No problem or questions when I ordered it, took less than 5 minutes.

This is the red case you get when ordering a nato strap on the Omega website. Has the Omega logo on the outside, not quite an inch thick when zipped closed.

The watch that got me into watches, but with a slight GMT twist. Nothing but love for this one.

It's my second go at this one. Quartz this time and i love it!

I like the fact that it wears nice and flat on the wrist. The classic dial and bezel in blue combo is irresistible!

This is really a beautiful watch. I was trying on a speedmaster at an AD and he forced me to try on the Seamaster. While I still think I will go with a Speedmaster, the Seamaster was a joy to have on.

Nice colour match
Thank you, but I wish it was a bit more on the yellow/brown shade to match better...
...it's an aftermarket (I cut off the extra strap to make it a 1-piece...didn't want to do that to the original Omega one).
Still hunting for a better color match, but 19mm NATO's are harder to find....

Off for a few pints poos so I'm taking the old faithful. It's a good job it's a 300m. My pints are pretty deep
