Just dropped in my inbox, maybe Bond can wear this on his next sojourn.

All that titanium, tantalum and Sedna gold means another bicolour watches for Omega, is this a new trend?

As I've mentioned in several topics... bit looks like a women's watch to me, but then again de gustibus non est disputandum...
Imagine James Bond wearing this Metal Magic wrist watch :taunt:

Sounds & looks like a Metal Magic trend... aimed mainly at the ( Far East ) Asian market, their main market...
But then again, their longest running product line still in production, has become a far cry from the black dial masculine dive toolwatch of the 1960s :(

Not for me, thanks... Somehow I can't imagine James Bond wearing this, either.

I actually really like it mainly because it’s no-date

This is one that looks so much better in real life. I think a couple of members have one and there's some lovely Youtube videos. I'd have one in a heartbeat if I had the cash. The no date is nice as I can barely see the date on my grey dial 2018 SMP, better if it weren't there!

As I’m currently reading about this watch in Omega Lifetime (edition 20 from 2018) it obviously has been around for a while....
Maybe I should change the thread title to ‘Omega spamming me with fancy Seamaster adverts’ :cautious:

And so, finally, we have the thread number 327 about this watch. Good! ::yawn::

My bad. You’d think that Omega wouldn’t need to send emails worldwide about a watch that is limited to 2,500. I missed this the first time around, and I don’t recall receiving any about the Apollo 8 LE, so this one must be stuck on shelves

Yes, two-tone watches are making somewhat of a comeback, but don't know how long lived it will be. AP has released two tone Royal Oaks, Rolex has two-tone models in their sports line, and PP has a two tone or two in their Nautilus line. A lot of people freak out at a two tone watch which seems over the top to me. If you don't like them just move on, there are other options.

Emails are cheap to send, and I wouldn't assume they are stuck on shelves. I do remember receiving an email on the 18k Moonshine gold Anniversary Speedmaster and that was only 1,012 piece edition.

I actually talked to an OB about this timepiece today.

Turns out a few of the London boutiques have or had waiting lists for this timepiece and the one I called had a single one in stock. Some VIP was going to buy it but apparently he went silent and so the piece was unreserved.

So although it's not to everyone's tastes, I think it's been pretty successful at selling.

Yep, @Evitzee is correct, emails cost nothing, it’s all just marketing guff at the end of the day. I do now recall deleting all the Tresor emails without even thinking about it. I guess there’ll be an avalanche of promotional moon-based emails come June...

I've been seeing a lot more two tone watches lately, but I have to say that this one doesn't excite me all that much. It might check all the boxes for someone else but I would very much rather have a different colorway, even if this one is more expensive.

Along with the others I don't see Bond wearing this one either. But then again... if he does.. maybe I'll be one of those people that suddenly see the appeal of this piece.

I thought the TiTanRAu was kinda cool, because it was a chrono - I think if the TiTanSAu were a chrono too, I'd like it more - but I don't quite
