My wife got this watch from my grandmother. The number is 541. What year is it from ? I took it to an Omega dealer who estimated it would cost USD 400-450 to fix it. I guess that is more than the watch is worth ?

Yes, but a good independent should be able to get it up and running for around half that amount, or less.

Watch is from 1950's or early 1960's.

    You're welcome.
