Seamaster Jacques Mayol with dolphins

My first post. Just starting Omega "collection" with a couple of Seamasters and a Speedmaster Moonwatch.

I think I've been had on this one though.... After some homework there appear to be signs it's fake. No visible Ser #, logo not deeply engraved on the back, no logo on crown or bracelet. On the other hand, the dial looks pretty good. Maybe the original owner had crown and bracelet replaced??? Why counterfeit this model when there are many more expensive models to copy?

Dang, should have inspected it more closely. Lesson learned, just glad I'm "only" out a couple of hundred for it at a pawn shop.
