I'm am only 15 minutes old to your forum and have read a few posts with interest. Don't know anything about Omegas but would like to continue reading the interesting posts. My reason for joining is interest in watches and today being the day I found an Omega which has been in our family since new. Its a Seamaster Quartz and I had a new battery fitted today, to my surprise seems to be working fine. The watch has not seen day light for the last 23 years as it belonged to my late father-in-law. Should I take it to local Omega dealer for a service or leave as is? See attached photo's
