Perhaps you can provide a better photo of the dial. With what I see, there is nothing wrong. Is the clean condition of the dial your only evidence? If that was the case, you would be calling an awful lot of well-preserved pieces radials. With this one, I see a clean, dial, clean movement and very clean case, all indicating a properly stored watch that has seen minimal use and abuse. These sparkle dials were underappreciated for quite some time but prices have climbed over the past few years.
If as it looks it is a sparkle dial then they are often in very good condition. I doubt these are easy to refinish well. Even based on those poor pics, I think that watch is fine.

All - Sincere thanks for weighing in on this one - always great to find some positive consensus on a nice piece. The price ended running up above where I was willing to take it (for good reason apparently based on the feedback here). Will be keeping my eyes open for another example of this nature, and will definitely post here again for sober (or at least half sober) second eyes when I come across one.
