Hope that you can help me. I have an Omega Seamaster Two tone, Cal. 501 from 1955. Can anyone tell me if it is a fake?

Looks like you have already bought it by the post pack?

    Do you have movement pictures?
Did you pay a great amount for it?
Do you think the dial is redone (Redialed) from looking at others.?

Doesn't bother me at all☺️ just trying to verify the watch to find out what it is worth. Might be interested in selling or trading☺️

Just think, only 197 more posts and you will be able to post a FS thread! It's nice your previous post is not fishing...:whipped:

As I just signed up to this site, not sure what you mean about FS threads? I just got this Omega watch but as I have no more than what the seller told me, I am trying to get as much information as I can☺️ If you by fishing mean that I am trying to see if I can find someone who might be interested in trading or buying, then yes. Is that wrong of me?

Good looking watch. The dial looks original to me but I think the hands have been replaced as they look a little long and the lume is a nice cream where the lume on the dial has aged a dark color. Welcome to the forum.

We have a rule here that you need to have 200 posts in order to be allowed to sell a watch on the site.

Unfortunately, many people try to take advantage of the rule by posting "I just bought this watch, how much is it worth" type threads trying to offer watches for sale when they have not met the requirements. The moderators take a dim view of this practice, but because of what looks to me to be some minor language issues, you get a pass...this time.

IMO, the watch is very nice. The dial has some patina that may be from the original radium dots in the markers. The hands have either been relumed or replaced. This of little matter, as the dial is the most important part.

    Hope this helps,
