I recently saw this Seamaster with a textured dial described as a "bark" dial, which I had never seen before. I know the sunburst, honeycomb, stripes and linen dials are somewhat more common. Are there any other rarer textured dial varieties out there? And please post your unique textured dials!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's open slather with vintage Seamasters. There was a lot of variety and you could go to every vintage watch shop and fair in your area and still not see everything that's out there.

My personal favourite is this chevron textured dial. Black, guilloché, unusual markers... What's not to like!?

God knows what this is called - striped? Pyjama? Nice though.

Tuxedo is what I've seen it referred to as.

It could be smoke on a linen dial?

Intersting, doesn't look like dirt or smoke damage at all to me. Could be a linen dial though and the paint color gives it a slightly more textured effect?

Hmmm...I wouldn't call it that. It has the straight lines, but doesn't have the circular "scratches" that define the côtes de genève pattern.

This is a côtes de genève dial...
