I have a 60 ish.seamaster deville. I don't really think it is worth fixing. What should I do with it. Maybe someone could use it for parts 20190602_182953.jpg

Are you offering to give away this watch? I cannot tell from the wording in your post.

Possibly. If I do it's yours. I don't know if it's worth fixing. The second hand has come off and there is something wrong when I try to set time/date. Forgive my verbiage I am more of a gun guy

Is the only issue the seconds had? Chances are you might need to/ seriously should drop $200 for a service. The one photo isn't much to go by, and since it is out of focus it's hard to tell much. But chances are it's worth $700 USD or so when in good working order.

The little line between the day and date puts it as 70ish. Still worth considering a service though. Not sure if I would want to spend any money on a fourth generation caliber, but many would.

More than just the second hand issue. When I try to set the time
/date it feels like something is stripped. It needs repairs. I thought general servicing was more than 200.

Probably $200 to $300 but without knowing what is wrong it is hard to say. A watchmaker can look at it and let you know before he gets into it.
