    Hi everyone-

I read in several sites that Seamaster de ville was made only from 1963 to 1967, and yet I see multiple Seamaster de ville for sale.

Is there a possibility that some were made in 70's for certain parties or countries? Or these ones for sale are not authentic?

    Thank you :)

Omega still sells the De Ville today. Which reference are you looking at?

Yes, the SMD was made well into the 70s, many with the caliber 1020 day/date movement. Solid 14k gold for the US market ref C6865 is one example.

This is a cal. 563; with 34,xxx,xxx with a date of approximately 1972. So, yes.

I was able to get this one photo.
I don't know the ref number, but from the hands I guessed it was from late 60's or early 70's.

Yep, that's a correct reference. I am not completely sure, but I believe it uses the cal. 565. It isn't seen as often as its earlier cousins though and the combination of the dressy overall design clashes somewhat with the more "racing-like" seconds track - just IMO of course :)
