I came across this in a tiny jewelers in London. Looks in pretty nice original condition. I didn't get a photo of the movement but it was a 562, looking very clean.

    A couple of questions:
    – I haven't seen many seamasters (ref 166.020) with dials that are this shade of gold. Is it stained, tobacco? Or is this it's intended colour?
    – It was £275 and the seller didn't seem keen on negotiating. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

I've never seen one of quite that particular shade but to my eyes the dial looks original. Some of the indexes look a little irregularly spaced but it could be distortion/angle. Fonts look good. Crosshairs strike all the way through. No T's but no lume so correct. Not a bad price either. Cheers.

Mmmh, interesting dial colour, not seen one of these either, - it seems to check out though!
The crown looks to be a replacement and I would expect to see silver hands with black infills.
Date window looks too clean against dial.
    Good price for a dealer.
