    Hi all

This Seamaster Cosmic of mine wont set because the stem won't reseat. I'm not that fond of the gold plate anyway. Seems to run fine, its been a few years since Ive worn it regularly.

Worth fixing? What is the consensus? seamaster cosmic.JPG

Look into the case tube and check to make sure you can see the male part of the stem - it looks to me that the movement may have rotated slightly. If it doesn't line up, then you may be able to rotate the movement back without taking the crystal out, but if not the crystal has to be removed to line it up properly, then the crown snapped in place, and the crystal pressed back in the case.

Can you tell me the reference number or the movement caliber? I have a similar cosmic I need to repair. Might be able to figure something out. Thanks.
