    Hi everyone,

I bought a few weeks ago during a vintage show an Omega Seamaster Cosmic.
Though, when I try the serial at the back of the watch, the only Omega watches I can find are Constellation models.
So I'm starting to wonder if the seller didn't replace the backplate of the Cosmic by a Constellation? Or is it simply a counterfeit watch?
The pictures are below and serial is "168.015 TOOL 105" in case the picture is not "readable".

    Thank you for your help.

I think this is a frankentein watch: Seamaster Cosmic dial + Cal. 565 in a Constellation 168.015 case.

be patient you should see a cosmic case show up quite quickly.....though you'd best get a watchmaker to transfer the movement....then go hunting for a constellation movement that needs a new home. Technically both still Frankenwatches but a lot closer to original purpose and twice the fun...

Yes, do your homework before you spend your hard-earned money (unless you inherited it all, then fuck it).
