Hey OF, could you lend an eye to this.
seller asking $7k. He said dial and bezel are restored.
Bezel looks to be a replacement. I’m not knowledgeable enough to make calls for dial and hands, but they do look rather new for their age.
Thanks all.

I don't know too much about these, but the corrosion on the second hand but not the hour/minute hand looks suspect to me.

Personally, I would wait for one with a dial that hasn't been tampered with. If $7k is your budget, perhaps look for a different reference, e.g. 165.014.

Thanks Dan. I do have the 165.014. It’s going to my father soon.

Hi
Excuse my ignorance, how do you see that it’s been replaced?
thanks F

I am far from an expert but I would venture a guess that the font/numerals are slightly different to the originals.

Also I would mention that the hour hand is maybe a later replacement. The lume/radium pit (or triangle) was to my knowledge a bit larger than this one exhibits.

Top photo is original. Bottom is the one in question.
See the differences? Thanks for the hours playing “find Waldo” with my kids.
