Hi all, I hope this is posted in the correct place. I saw this listing and am considering buying it if it's correct. The case is a 2943, movement cal. 504, waffle dial as you can see. But, it's marked Seamaster on the dial and it has the star. I believe that the cal.504 movement is correct for a 2943 case. Any opinions on whether the dial could be correct and original to this watch? I am a fan of the cal.504 movement (and waffle dial) as they are fairly rare. I have a 2943 yellow capped "Connie" with a badly re-finished black dial and everything looks nearly identical apart from the black, the waffle, and the "Seamaster". Thanks in advance, this is a great forum. http://www.ebay.com/itm/331942444243?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Everything about it says "gold-capped Constellation!" Except, uhm, where they wrote Seamaster on the dial... Movement doesn't look all that great, either.
Not that great looking for the price. Rotor and bridge color look different than rest of movement. Crown not correct and case is in maybe 4/10 condition Good for a $150 worth of parts DON
