Very nice watch, even if some blemishes show up when you have it in person.

These are not easy to find; I looked for mine for nearly a year. I think the price is okay, given the apparently good condition. Maybe a little on the high side, given that there’s no bracelet.

Have to say, I bet you’ll love it.

Definitely, LOL. Always more remorse for the ones I wished I’d bought, but didn’t. Or wishing I still had some of the watches I’ve sold or traded.

These days, if you overpay a bit, it seems all you have to do is wait, and the “value” catches up. Or if you don’t buy it, a few months later it’s selling for more. Sad but true….

Never mind, in this side photo the dial looks silver.
I think the crown is a replacement. It should be a flat feet one.

Seller says all original but I wouldn’t know.

Pulled the trigger on it. Should be here today or tomorrow. Once I have it I can share more photos for your opinions. Thanks for all of your help!

Congratulations. I had to chase down a bracelet for mine; it’s from the late 1950s. It didn’t take long to find a reasonably priced vintage BoR, (not as old as the watch, but fine). I’m still looking for end links that are a proper fit.

There is a thread somewhere on OF that lists bracelet options for there. Apparently Omega has new ones that fit, if you are so inclined.

Looking forward to the pictures.

I prefer a strap but thanks for the info.

It’s on its way. The seller was Farfo/Timeplex. I read some good things about him so hope all is legit.

Watch landed and looks good, but some potential issues. I’m pretty sure it’s non-hacking, but the minute hand continues to move with the crown pulled out which I do not think is correct if this was serviced. He also said everything n the watch was original including the signed crown, but I don’t see any Omega symbol on this crystal. Photos coming, but I’m already thinking of returning it.

I just spoke to a watchmaker I’ve used and trust and he said the watch continues to move since it’s non-hacking. I thought just the second hand stopped. Feel better now, but not sure why the seller said the crystal is original and signed when it isn’t. My only Omega that has the logo on the crystal is my speed master reduced.

My bad again. The crystal is signed. Was hard to find but seller assured me it was there and he was right. I guess my cynicism was getting the best of me.

Farfo usually points out refinished dials.
Looks nice. I might have missed it but what is the reference number. The movement has the asymmetrical thingy.

Reference 105.005-65. What’s the significance of the asymmetrical thingy?

Have you dealt with Farfo before?

It is the earlier 321 movement iteration.
I have 105.005 “Ed White companion” too.

Sellers say a lot of things 😉
Just for reference, this is what I think a period correct crown for this ref.
