    Hi Folks,

I have really taken a liking to this reference over the past few months. I suppose the interest started when I saw this article on Hodinkee https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/Roger-Smiths-Personal-Watch

So, I have started investigating these with the view that should the right one come up, I would buy it.

What I quickly found out was that there were a few dial variations and possibly hand variations? The one that Rodger Smith owns simply says Omega Deville on the Dial whereas there are others with Omega Seamaster etc.

I spotted one for sale a few weeks ago and narrowly missed out on it as I was still unsure about original hands and dial configurations but to my eye it was an attractive watch.

Can anyone give me a quick run down on what is period correct for this reference or anything that I should be looking for when purchasing. I am struggling to find any definitive information on this model.

    Thanks!

Dial number two is re-done, to my eye.
