    hi guys,

Talking with another enthusiast who is contemplating selling his SM Chrono. I read the thread on these so feel slightly more educated (knew nothing about them this morning). He sent me a single pic just to show me the watch, we haven’t gone any further than “hey, thinking of selling this”. Not actively hunting these watches, I actually prefer the earlier round cased version, but if the price is right I would happily own one.

He verified it is a 321 movement, 1966/67 production. Case looks a bit soft to me, otherwise it looks pretty good compared with other pics I’ve seen.
What would be a fair value on something like this? I’ve seen some upward of $3k, don’t think this falls into that category. If the collective here thinks it’s worth investigating further, I’ll ask for more pics.

That’s the caliber. What are the first 4-5 digits of the movement serial number.

Oh, that I didn’t get, as I said, we haven’t gotten that far yet and I don’t thing he has a spanning wrench to open the case back, I believe he takes it to a watchmaker to do anything with it. So at this point i’m doing my homework.

Just a guess but if it is correct with a c.321 movement and in decent condition maybe US $2500.
