It should be an early model, 1952-ish serial number, based on the square date window which changed to a trapezoid shape sometime in 1953. Yes, vintage Omegas can make you dizzy. These sell for around $550 - $750 usually, can be more for the waffle dials. We're always open with our opinions.
Right case, wrong crown, wrong crystal tension ring, all as Dennis says. Check the movement if possible.
If that's a scratch on the dial it would kill the deal for me. If you check on ebay though there is a pretty decent waffle one up for sale right now.
In addition, I think the hands are too long, so these might have been a replacement. All these factors add up and would tell me to have a careful look at whats ticking inside before buying.
Yes, you are probably right. For some reason looking at the first picture thought the sweep is almost touching the tension ring.
