Have anyone seen something like this?
    62_1721552613.jpg

It looks like a Suverän, but with the added Seamaster text. The hands are not correct, but what about the dial? Sorry about the crappy photo. Movement is probably some of the 30mm, 26x or older.

I've never seen a seamaster with this type of dial, but this does not mean that does not exist.

I see the photo too small and it is difficult to express an opinion.

However, the feeling that I was not positive, it seems that the writing seamaster bear either later.
To understand more, would take clearer photos and also of the bottom interior / exterior and movement.

It´s not a Suveran (ref 2400) It´s a ref 2639 with cal 265. The dial might be original. The Seamaster line was launched in 1948, and this dial seems to be from that era

I had the impression (and I may well be wrong) that the early Seamasters did not have the Seamaster text on the dial?

I like Steve's example, and obviously I stand corrected. But isn't the 'S' in the OP's watch the wrong style for the date?

Paid for my whole collection of watches, a new house, a couple of very nice sports cars and my kids were sent to private schools. Oh God, do I love to do business with Americans?! :whistling:::bleh::

I think this was the picture of the mechanics.
According to serial, it dates to 1956 I think.

And the seller claimed that the watch was bought by his father as new in shop a long time ago, and he (selller) had inherited it and wanted to sell it.

I have an exact same: klokken.jpg
The crown is not an original, neither is the wristband, but the rest is as it was originally i believe.
