just bought a seamaster quartz from the late 70's, bracelet is 1444-800 and having problems with clasp end links. Seen a similar one for sale but has the number 1185/215 on the clasp. Both look like beads of rice bracelets but different clasps and maybe different lug end links. Were there different numbers for the beads of rice bracelets? I'm wondering whether it's the beads of rice bracelet but someone has put a clasp from a different bracelet on it which is confusing things. Will put up photos later. Model 196.0251 Any ideas?

It's like asking if someone changed the wheels on your car. "They're round and rotate". We need photographs to help

The second bracelet is distinctly different and not likely to fit your watch.

Yours is not really a BOR bracelet and is fairly specific to the watch.

You can still buy those, new. They are about £225 here in the UK.

thanks appreciated, managed to get some links from cousins brand new and all fitted now. I may well go for the one in your link as a spare. Thanks again.
