·2 weeks ago I was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when I was struck by a commercial vehicle. I bounced off the hood of large SUV and slid about 12-15 feet on my hands and knees.
On my wrist was my Seasmaster No Time To Die.
All I could think about when I regained mental capacity was what condition was my watch in.
Due to the watches titanium construction I was shocked at how well it held up (Pictures below).
Had I been wearing any steel watch like my Explorer ii, I know it would be toast.
One of the few positives of a shitty situation is how well I was treated by my local Omega boutique. Thank you to the team at the Omega boutique in NJ for helping me out with this.
Unfortunately the band will have to be replaced as well as the bezel but the fact that there is so little damage from literally sliding directly on it is unbelievable.
The Bond life isn't easy but damn does this watch hold up!
