Hello all, I apologize for the newbie question, I am just getting into Omega and had a question about my first Omega; a Seamaster professional 2264.50 circa 2009. As I was researching the 2264.50, I found the majority not to include the omega stamp on the back shown in this picture (bottom of the picture). Just curious if more experienced Omega folks have seen this stamp on the back of the watch, thank you for the insight.
it is a globe with two Omega symbols in the globe...just curious if anyone knows what models (other than apparently the Seamaster Pro) and what year did they start? Thanks
It's a copyright symbol, sometimes incorrectly referred to as an anti-counterfeit mark. Omega began to stamp its watches with a small globe design, "for the express purpose of invoking the Copyright Act to restrict the resale of its products."
