I am new to the forum (and watch buying generally). I have bought an Apnea that I like but am wondering what you guys look at to determine whether it is real or fake. I will attach pictures in a separate post. Thanks in advance.

I am no expert in SM Apnea, but yours looks legit. One easy check, see the back lug (I think in 4 o'clock position) there should be laser engraving of the watch serial number. Another sure check is opening the case back. No fake able to copy the real movement.
