Nope - even if the service case back had the new number, only one additional "0" would be added, so it would be a 1350011, not 13500011.

    Odd...

It is indeed. Forgot to mention, the Seamaster logo (etching?) is on the back, though almost worn away. I bought this in Norway when I was back there in January. I opened it up just to check, and the gasket came out as black powder, obviously hasn't been opened for ages. Also wondering about the dial, have only seen one more with the same dial, that one was for sale with dealer in Denmark. Could it be some Scandinavian\Nordic only model, kind of like the Omega Suveran? Hence the trippel 0's? It does in my opinion look genuine? My trusted watchmaker here in Bangkok says the crystal most likely has been replaced (No logo in the centre), but the dial looks clean and untouched. Maybe dial was replaced due to damage at the same time?

Looks a lot like my friend's Seamaster 600.

    [my wrist, his watch]

The applied Arabics and markers look a little thicker on his, and lume on yours, but pretty much the same otherwise. This one was acquired here in So Cal, so most likely available in more markets than just Northern Europe. I'll see if my friend can take a look at the inner caseback.

    Cordially,

    To resurrect a dead thread:

I just received my Seamaster 600 from eBay. Generic crystal, and changed band; everything else appears to be unpolished. Caseback has been removed before with care, and movement is a Cal 601 from 1967.

Caseback reference is the odd 135.00011. From my belief, I don't believe it is a service replacement, as the wear and rubbing of the hippocampus appears consistent with the unpolished condition of the watch. As the watch has a service mark along with a generic crystal, I am under the impression that the caseback is original to the watch.
