    Hi all

New member here, just starting a search for a 1950's era Seamaster (the general style and size works well for me)

I've been reading a number of threads about "redials" and came across the below "striped" dial in my search

I've not come across another of it's ilk and wanted to know if anyone else has seen one similar.

The seller states: "Nicely aged original rare dial with original finish in two-tone silver with original silver baton hour markers and original silver dagger hands."

It doesn't "call" to me, so I am not considering to buy it, so I am leaving off the rest of the details about the movement, etc...

I am simply curious if Omega offered such a dial face?

    Thanks, Chris

Slightly uncommon but known variant. Looks original to me.

I own this one, with sort of a striped [original] dial Omega myself.... ;)

    Thanks for the pic alam.

I have seen some of those "wave" and striped dials (which are subtler in affect and appear to my eye to be machine made), what was making me question the one in the picture I sent is that it looked "painted on" instead of "machine made"
