    I posted a few nights ago about a possible purchase and so glad I did...thankyou to everyone.

    So....with trepidation Im posting about my purchase today. It comes with original box and papers but im interested in what this number 14910 means?

    Pawn shop purchase in Glasgow and i met a really nice gentleman who was very knowledgeable and excited about the box and paperwork

    Congratulations you have done well. Always nice to see a full set.
    All looks good to me, even crown, buckle and strap look original.

    14910?? ..... don’t you mean 14770?
    This is the model reference number, if you look up google images you will see lots of similar examples.

    Excellent example with a clean dial and coat hanger "S" in Seamaster, which you don't see in the Seamasters of the mid-late 60s. The original accessories and boxes are a bonus :thumbsup:

    Yes I saw the 14770 on original receipt but pawn broker wrote 14910 wasn't sure if he made an error.
