    I am going to buy a vintage Omega Seamaster cal 501. It is 17 jewels unadjusted movement (writen on the movement). Is it authenthic piece?     Redialed so I wouldn't personally touch it. Movement is very dirty too.

    The dial is really bad, you should stay away from this watch.

    Movement is a frankenwatch, too. Put together from at least two other watches.

    Cal. 501 is a 19 or 20 jewel movement.

    Cal. 500 is the 17 jewel version.

    Run away from this dog with fleas.
