Hello OF,

This watch have been auctioned this week, and I had some trouble to check it. I ask your opinion just for educational purpose 馃摉

Unfortunately I only have one photo. On that one the minute hand looks a little short, but that could be a point-of-view-effect.

More important, the dial : it seems that the vertical line of the crosshair isn't in the middle of the Omega logo... Otherwise, the dial looks good to me. If I recall correctly I've already seen this kind of "off-centered" crosshair on correct dials... Maybe they looked correct to me at the time ::facepalm1::.

What do you all think about it?

Kind regards,

The crosshairs can look off if the photo is not 100% straight on. I鈥檓 not an expert on these, but I鈥檓 learning to not rule it out without better photos. Nice looking watch, I hope you find another one 馃憤

Edit, the hour hand does look short, but I don鈥檛 know the reference to compare it

With this reference, you really need to see the dial in person to determine if a redial or not. Crystals have a way of distorting crosshairs in internet photographs.

However, based on experience and MSN鈥檚 keen eye, I would lean to original.

Hope this helps,

@MSNWatch Thank you, don't you have a NOS one for reference in your unicorn zoo? 馃槜

@DaveK I'll be bolder next time 馃憤

@gatorcpa It was local but I saw it online at the last time, I guess I should have pulled the trigger on this one...

@cristos71 Very, very nice example 馃グ

I want to add:

It is a French Chronometer, identifiable by the FAB. SUISSE on the dial

and I confirm the dial is all original, I have the same in rose gold (like Christos麓)

Something that I didn't specified, it was for sale in an auction house in France.

Just for the record, it went for just above 1500 euros.

If the watch was solid gold, it was well bought.

Same dial but in rose gold.

It is absolutely unnecessary to post your watch. Not helpful at all. Now I can not un-see this and might make another totally unnecessary purchase in rose' gold....... kind regards. Achim
