Does this look correct, it is for sale on Ebay, the bezel doesn't look correct to me, no pictures of movement

I wish I was better about determining fakes. The Bezel is wrong. 1.2.3 vs 10.20.30.

What else is obvious?

 

The bezel numbering is right for the re edition Spectre watch but the knurling should be finer I think

- hour hand
- case back

aren't right. The strap is aftermarket as well.

This is a really cool watch, let me start there! Omega Seamaster 300 M on a Black and Grey NATO strap. The latest Omega. You know the film when Daniel Craig wears this (Spectre). This is the modern re-edition of one of Omega’s greatest watches, the Seamaster 300m CK2913, Probably the best looking watch in existence.

It is so cool looking I am tempted to keep it..... Details: Mens's stainless steel automatic watch. This was gifted to me but as I have a small collection already and wear my late father's Seiko daily this is surplus to requirements.

Full automatic man's watch - Can also be wound manually - screw down crown with rubber gasket, unidirectional bezel (turns anti-clockwise as it should). Sweeping secondhand with unique lollypop secondhand.
41mm - has 2 x Omega logo on NATO strap also. Top attention to detail.

NOTE: No box, papers, receipt - bid accordingly PLEASE!!! I have timed against a quartz and it's keeping VERY good time

 

ohhhhh. Ok, so caseback should be sapphire clear. The bezel should have about 10 teeth between numbers, not 5. Hour hand is tough, I cannot see it.

 

Did nobody else notice the case is completely wrong? It has crown guards and lyre lugs - the actual Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial has straight lugs. Not to mention a display caseback....

 

In looking at your post history it seems you have some pretty bad luck running into knockoffs.

 

And... the Spectre Box is freaking cool, no way I would buy without that.

 

no it's not bad luck, I am trying to replace a Seamaster that was stolen in a burglary, so when I see any that look suspicious I post them for the expert's opinions

 

so its a fake, it would be interesting who made it?

Perhaps this atrocity could be the result of an Omega / Lego co-sponsored let´s play-at-putting-watches-together workshop to generate brand enthusiasm for kids at school...or an early prototype of yet another Omega LE...the Halloween LE Freak (will probably have to license the Freak name from Ulysse)???

OP, if you think that could possibly be real, in the nicest possible way, please gain some knowledge on the SM300. The bezel isn't even close to the ceramic/liquidmetal of the real ones for starters. I could go on.

Study the images on the Omega website and the differences will be clear.

 

I did a hard target search on eBay and was unable to find the listing.
