I want a Seamaster 300 but have heard Omega might be updating or releasing a new variant. Does anyone know when this might be released?

The people who know ain’t talking; the people who are talking don’t know.

I say if you like the current watch, buy it. No sense in waiting for something that might not happen.

I think the major question to ask yourself is, are you interested in a different model because there is something about the current options that you don't care for, or do you just want something new and exciting?

The current models of both the SMP and SM300 heritage are great. If you're a little bit less worried about warranty it opens the table for a number of other very nice, very beautiful variations of both lines.

Me? I'm a lot more concerned with getting the right watch for myself than I am with having the newest thing but I realize that that may not be the case for everyone. Maybe newness and warranty is a priority for you.

Are you talking the Heritage or the Professional line?

Thanks for your reply. I have a 12 year old SMP 300 and wanted to update to the new version which I like due to the subtle differences. Id be disappointed to spend £5500 to find that they then update the model which I might or might not prefer
