    notice that the marker at 57 minutes is missing. The freaking watchmaker did this.....not sure how, but I suspect with his air hose as he was blowing out dust. In any event, I have no use for either dial.

    $50 USD for both dials

    Just FYI - I can't say what happened to your SM300 dial for certain, but in my experience it's not uncommon for the tissue paper they lay over the dial surface to get stuck to the dial, like so:

    When you remove the paper, unfortunately markers can come with it:

    I return these dials to Omega when this happens - I've had it happen several times. I've even tried using heat to loosen the tissue from the dial in an effort to prevent this, but sometimes you just can't. It's like the dials were packed while they were still wet...not sure I would blame this on the watchmaker if the dial was still in the package when you gave it to him.

    Totally agree with you on this. Good information for us to know.

    In my case, I brought in a watch that had a piece of lint inside and wanted him to remove the lint. He removed the lint and the marker :(.

    Sold.

    Ouch - I hope he paid for a new dial...
