    Hi !

haven't been too active here but since I managed to find my long time dream watch it's time to post some pics...

My first time taking photos of a watch so please bear with the quality.

It's a ck2913--1 sold in early 1958 and it came with the extract from the archives. The bezel is missing some of the bakelite at around 3 o'clock, but other than that it is an excellent piece. I got it with a leather strap but managed to find an original omega bracelet for it: non-stamped (early) 7912 expanding bracelet with #506 end pieces. Not the quite original 7077 with #6 end pieces but pretty close.

The case back doesn't have the seahorse engraved in but apparently the very early ones didn't have these yet. I bought this about a month ago and so I had no idea that Omega was bringing out the new re-edition at Baselworld... now I think I might end up getting the new 300 master co-axial as the daily wearer as this baby will get drawn out only at rare occasions.Gotta start saving up :)

Nice one. Caseback is all correct for a 2913-1 with engraving only on the rim.
Could perhaps use the countdown bezel instead, as many believe these first ones were delivered with that...and Omega advertising confirms that.
But no-one to say that they were not also delivered with the non-countdown bezel.
Anyway, enjoy. It's lovely. From Finland right ? ;-)

Yep, from Finland... and the watch was originally sold in Switzerland to a Finnish Gentleman who brought it to Finland, then he sold it to a collector who in turn let go off it to a vintage watch dealer here in Helsinki... and then I bought it, so it remains in Finland :)
