These are the only photos I have.

I know roughly what to look for, I am learning though, as I’m much better with Rolex/Tudor, so all help is appreciated.

so - would it be possible for you to judge a Tudor or Rolex based on similar informations?

I would feel a lot more confident for sure. But I would probably still reach out to the community for reassurance.

so you would judge without have any information, picture
from caseback outside and inside, picture from
movement, movementnumber ... ?

we will see, if someone believe, that this would be possible

I understand your point, but on the link there is a lot more information about the watch.

And in terms for seeing the dial, hands, bezel etc… I could probably venture a guess if they were correct for the style/ref.

Obviously I would only be commenting on what I could see and not the movement, case back, serial number etc…

All I was asking from the post is what people thought?

I really don’t understand the passive aggressive nature of this chat, I was just looking for some advise.

feel free to buy a watch based on judgement from that inadequate foundation we have

the last time and even the last days there had been threads to this kind of Seamaster
and a lot of importent details, that are necessary to have, seems to be clear
and most of them are necessary generelly for a watch-judgement

Nobody wants to make you feel good about buying a watch without basic information. You should ask for more photos.

I'm not sure why some of the responses are so unhelpful, perhaps it's the number of enquiries for fake SM300's recently.

Anyway, from what I can see it looks ok, I.e. not fake. Obviously it has replaced hands and we don't have a picture of the movement, serial number of outer caseback which is crucial with SM300's.

So, it looks genuine with some replaced parts. The serial would need to be seen to confirm whether these parts are likely original or a franken.
