Hi all I fell in love with the 60's vintage seamaster watches some time ago and now I have been sucked into a vortex or calibers, movements, redials, crown repleacements etc. I tried to do my homework and research but I still feel unfit to judge the originality of a watch... hence this post. I found this Seamaster 30 on a danish private sellers website: https://www.dba.dk/herreur-omega-vintage-ome/id-1052669939/ I really like the watch but I want to make sure that all the parts are original and it's a fair price (i'm not looking to make a bargain) Details are: Cal. 269 19.239.XXX from 1962. Ref. nr: 125.003 Thank you for any advice
Hej Jeppe The seller is also active on IG under the name "dwndler" and he's a serial Omega seller hovering in between the dealer/private seller distinction. He sells a lot of these and I haven't heard any negative feedback. The watch in your post is correct, though slightly polished (the lugs could be sharper).
It's a little on the high side. I would say more like 550-600 tops as it's been serviced. I sold this one for 680 Euro last year https://mitka.co.uk/omega-seamster-14389-1-calibre-268/ and that had all stainless steel case newly serviced ect. Best regards, Mitka
