Hi everyone,
What do you think about this Seamaster 2849? I was not sure about the hands, but perhaps there are other things that are not correct. And the movement itself?
Many thanks,
Yves

Case, movement and buckle look correct to me. Crystal is signed, so at least it is original Omega.

I have similar hands on a Seamaster that I own, but mine is not 18K gold, so I’m not 100% sure of that.

My favorite reference and was my first purchase as an entry into vintage. Hands are non lume and so is the dial so I believe they are correct. Cal should be 503. Dial appears original and not refinished.

Seamasters of the era typically (not always) had flat, non faceted hands like this. Connies usually had faceted hands. It looks like a nice, original watch to me. I’ve hypothesized that these very white dials may be service dials.. but just a hypothesis, it may be completely original.

Congratulations. Nice that it comes with a solid gold buckle.

Thanks! It was bought from the first owner and I'm happy that it seems fully original. Thanks everyone for helping to assess it.
