So I’ve had this laying around for a couple of years. I bought it not working and finally got around to having it serviced.

It’s a ~1952 Ref. 2577 with a 354 bumper movement. It cleaned up pretty nicely. Lume is long gone of course and the dial is nicely patina’d. Looking forward to adding it to the rotation.

Has anybody seen a dial exactly like this one before? I’ve seen some close but nothing identical.

This dial style is one of the very few variations for original black dial seamaster bumper chronometres. Usually it is the same dial in textured form.

Nice one! I got a white honeycomb 2577 cal 352 with the same configuration. Definitely unusual!
