Hello!
i'm a proud owner of the Omega Seamaster Professional Titanium with the "electric blue" dial. And i reaaally love my watch:
(Sorry for the lame picture but i'm at the office and can't provide any beach/car photos!)

The only thing i'm not 100% happy about is the bracelet. i'm looking for the 1610/930ti bracelet (as on the 2231.50 or the 2232.80) but i can't find it anywhere.
i have monitored a german forum and chrono24 for 2 years now but withtout success.

i would have absolutely no problem with a forstner bracelet, but they they don't have any titanium bracelets for the seamaster.

so i'm either looking for a used bracelet (in a reasonable price range) or input for alternatives 馃榾

best regards
Peter

Welcome to the OF, but I suspect this thread may run afoul of forum rules. We don鈥檛 allow marketplace posts for members who haven鈥檛 established themselves over time.

See here.

Great watch!

oh, my bad. sorry 馃檮 - not a great start...
can't edit the opening post. if a mod could just delete the "looking for a used bracelet (in a reasonable price range)" part and leave the thread here...?
still interested in alternatives!

It's every bit as good as any other SMP, just made of a different case material.

@NotJackson thank you for the tip. i've stumbled upon the uncle straps some time ago and even enquires about this - no answer 馃檨
i think i read somewhere that the case for the new(er) SMP aren't the same as the old ones...
would be great if someone could verify though 馃槣

No the newest cases are larger than before. You might be able to get something to fit if you swap or modify the end links but your options will be limited in titanium. If you wanted the Speedy style bracelet it may be best to swap watches unfortunately as even when you do find an original bracelet it won鈥檛 be very cheap at all.

Question for you鈥hy are you trying to find the 2232.80 style bracelet? I鈥檓 doing some watch shopping in Thailand and came across a watch that is advertised as a 2231.80, but has what looks like a titanium speedmaster style bracelet like the one you are looking for.

What is different between the two bracelets.

i have the 2231.80 (electric blue) with the TI 1523/825 bracelet (bond bracelet?): https://www.omegawatches.com/de-de/watch-omega-seamaster-300-m-chronometer-22318000
the 2232.80 has the TI 1610/930 bracelet: https://www.omegawatches.com/de-ch/watch-omega-seamaster-300-m-chronometer-22328000

comparing the images you'll see the difference.
How desirable or valuable are these watches compared with the rest of the sword hand family of 41mm watches?

I am trying to decide between this and a SMPc 41mm Seamaster the SMPc has papers, but the 2232.80 does not.

Congrats, lovely watch. I have the 2231.50 with the other bracelet in titanium and it's very nice. However, they're like hen's teeth!

The quickest way to get one would be to buy a 2231.50 watch and then sell the watch head on a rubber or NATO strap. It sounds extreme but depends on how much you want that bracelet! Other options are the titanium mesh NTTD breacelet which you can get from a botique and would look very cool i'm sure.

Here's some snaps of mine on a NATO and stainless steel aftermarket mesh

In my honest opinion the bond bracelet looks best with the electric blue and the speedy style bracelet just right with the black dial version. It's funny how a small detail like the color of a dial can make! I have the electric blue myself and also bought an extra speedy style bracelet in titanium sadly not in the best condition. I must say compared to there steel counterparts the titanium seems to wear alot quicker in my experience. I'm now looking for a titanium deployant to get even more lightweight however this seems to be even harder to find as i prefer the old style clasp. I might settle for a newer style or a brushed steel version or abandon the idea altogether .

As to your original question correct me if i'm wrong other members here will know more perhaps but i believe the titanium x33 bracelet might fit as well.

Good luck hunting!
