I didn't like the attached bracelet.

I would like to ask the experts, if it's genuine and what the value could be? It is a bit short - about 15 cm. Endlinks are 19mm/ 516.

Anyway, the watch looks much better as I thought, so I am very happy with my new purchase.

Great job with the dial, what did you use?

Genuine 1039, although looks to be missing at least four stretch links.

516 endlinks should be 20mm but there are plenty of people around who could make use of a pair of 19mm ;)

I reckon you would easily achieve $350 for the bracelet, possibly more.

Nice Seamaster Chronometer! I have a sibling of this, 168.0024, coming too.

Did you have to clean the hands also? They can be polished if you know how. The bracelet alone, if with all the stretch links, I've seen usually has gone for more than the normal value of this watch.

    Brave man!

Did you do the whole dial or just the edges to remove those marks?

I´ve always wanted to have a go, but I´m too scared of disasters to try!

Just the edges - most dials I wouldn't touch.
