Hi OF!

Specs:
Cal. 564 - 166.028 - 1969 YOM - 19mm - Seamaster Sparkle Dial

Just been considering swapping out this aftermarket black leather strap for a bracelet. Was super hard to find one generally, so went to our approved dealer in Dublin who reached out to Omega to see what could be done. They came back and said they would love to provide the attached bracelet for circa 600EUR. I picked up the watch in Singapore earlier this year and love it. Open to overall opinions on the piece! TIA

Love the sparkle dial. I think it would also look nice with a correct vintage beads of rice bracelet.

I really like these, especially with the sparkle dial. At 36mm they wear larger than most 60’s Seamasters and they’re a lovely, lovely watch.
Have you bought the bracelet yet? As far as I know this is the only bracelet Omega now have available for this model (I assume it’s a 1125?).

However, the watch looks much, much better on a period correct 1098/540 or 1069/524.

Here’s the 1098. I can’t find a picture on my phone of a 1069.

This is one of the correct bracelets, IIRC. 1125/560

Incidentally, yours is not a 168.028 since it does not appear to be a chronometer.

Hi David, thanks a million, I think they’re beautiful, great to look at when the sun catches it right! I haven’t bought it yet, I’m waiting for later in June to pull the trigger. It indeed looks like a 1125 but they didn’t send over any additional options so maybe this is what they have available. Do you think it’s worth getting for 600EUR?

Hey Dan, thanks for the comment, I think the bracelet I attached is the same as the one you’ve provided? Really appreciate the pic as I haven’t seen it on before! Yes, my one is a 166 as it isn’t a chronometer

My list shows these two for that reference.
1067/532 or 1069/524. Hope this helps.

I agree the 1069 is also correct.

The 1067/532 looks great on a SM120 but they’re not that easy to find and I can’t recall ever seeing one on a 166.028 etx. However, Endlinks are interchangeable between the SM120 and 166.028/168.032 so it’s certainly possible.
