    Hello,

I came across a very nice Seamaster 166.010 at eBay. I think the watch is in original, serviced condition, but that the price is a bit high.

    What do you think?

Please note: I am not connected in any way to the seller, but am considering buying the watch for use.

    Thanks,

    Roger

The ref 166.010 should have a date window and powered by a 562 or 565.

Thanks. I should have noticed that by just entering the ref number into google and comparing photos, but I missed the date window. So, no good and I'll pass on this one.

The way i read the case back it looks like 165.010 not 166.010 if that makes any difference.

You are right. My mistake. So, it seems legit. Are all parts original? I noticed some discoloration at the 6 o'clock marker on the dial, but otherwise it is in very nice condition. What is your opinion?

It is a 165.010 and everything correct and in quite decent condition, just a bit tarnish on the 6 marker. Movement serviced - if there's proof for this then price would be reasonable.
