Hi all,

I’m considering purchasing this 165.024, well that’s what I believe it to be anyway. The dial and hands are from a 14755. Was this a known configuration at the very beginning of these being rolled out?

fitted with a calibre 552 24 jewel self winding movement numbered 19362519

I’ve uploaded a vintage catalogue picture of the 165 with 14755 hands but not face!

Usually when you see a mismatch like you describe, unless you can find it solidly documented it is best to assume you are looking at a Franken or otherwise messed about example. With this model, that is more often than not the case.

I like the parts, but not the watch 😁
Crown for example is from a post 1967 model..so way to late for a transition (no one here ever heard of).
I assume Franken too, but if the price is right, at least you have some pretty parts 😁
