Saw this in the window of the local merchant. I can't imagine that the bezel is original. Forgive the crappy photo, but they don't take kindly to tire kickers. Thoughts?

 

I just picked one of these up with a black bezel and was looking at the Omega database. According to that, it was an option.

Interesting! Being on 5th ave in manhattan, their prices are usually absurd. But I will pop down at lunch to see what they are asking

 

They are asking $3500. I am pretty confident the seconds hand is a replacement, but the case is very sharp. Comes on a newer vintage 1171 bracelet.

 

$3500! I was recently offered 3 together from a guy I know for 2400 Euro, I turned him down as I found it too expensive.

Yeah, these guys are a bit out of control. I am sure they could be talked down, but probably not enough to make it worthwhile.

 

That's €2400! Even with the 1171, that's twice what I was expecting. Now, where's my tin of orange paint

1171 is not correct for this model, it should be on this one, I´m not sure of the reference, but it is the only one I would pay a small premium for.

From the picture it looks like a lady's watch ref. 565.007 that came with red, green, orange, etc. colors dials and bezels of the same color.

 

3 for 2400, so 800 a piece? Can you still call him?

In all fairness, in the right condition (and there are many of them around with issues), and bracelet, I'd find 2400 not absurd.
