Very nice! I just found one as well, on a Tropic strap.

Congrats. May be interested in an auto no date version later this year. Know of someone who has one, also with full 1098 bracelet, but I think he wants 2500-3000 for it.

Good luck with the auto no date, then the manual date, then the auto date. Lol.

i prefer non date too. I am looking at this one, has anyone see the red seconds before?

can that be original? And would you mind if it is not? Often I want only original parts but also these are old watches and realistically they sometimes need some help :)

Any other issues with this one?

It's easy enough to buy a replacement seconds hand but I think there's a few other issues with the watch that I'd be more concerned about if I were you

    Poor condition of dial
Minutes hand missing lume and possibly not original
    Dirty movement and missing screws

thank you. and agreed, this watch has seen better days. But as you know they are hard to get regardless of condition. Should probably hold of till a better one comes along...

Seen a couple of fake / not original ones lately... (that I don’t want to risk getting)

I stumbled upon this watch while browsing adverts for old Constellations on Chrono24, and... wow, why did nobody tell me that Omega could actually make gorgeous diver's watches ?!

I find the current SM300 and PO to be grotesque, the SM300 especially with its ugly hands (or lack thereof).
By contrast these SM120 are slender, more legible, and their C-shaped cases can be charming. They are the true answer to Rolex's Submariners.

A shame that there seem to be so much fakes around, a real hassle and a turn-off to collect. Yet it's also proof that these models are sought after.
If Omega is that much into reeditions, I wish they could release a modern SM120 (which the Aqua Terra is not, at least design-wise).. That'd be an instant buy for me.
