    Hi all

The Seamaster 120 is on my wanted list and I am trying to educate myself on what to look for. I have already looked at the previous threads here on OF and especially @gemini4 s great write up here:
    https://omegaforums.net/threads/my-...ers-what-to-look-for-and-what-to-avoid.38032/

I have crossed referenced pictures and to my eyes this example looks quite nice. There are a few ‘imperfections’ I’ve noticed:
    - Case is polished but not too bad
    - the movement has some ‘weirdness’ with one of the cogs (I’ve tried to read up on how to identify movement issues, but have found it very difficult.

I am still very new to this thing and reading through the threads here I often miss critical issues that are pointed out by the great minds.
So I’m hoping to get some more proficient eyes on this and a thumbs up or down.

The watch has already reached a total price of 1k.

Again thanks to this wonderful forum and its members. ::love::

Watch looks legit ! I’m not a specialist on seamaster 120 but generally looks like a winner. Movement is in good shape, original dial, looks unpolished, and original crystal.

The price increase on the auction seems to show quite a bit of interest. Typically a good sign.

These washed out seller pics don’t help. Hard to evaluate the case details.

Regarding originality i dont see any red flags. It's nice to see a original 120 from time to time. Especially after all the junk we saw before. We also need pictures of the case and (case)back. If the price is right, i would jump on it.

    And it's a 135.027...;)

Somebody is trying to pawn off his foolish purchase on a sucker, and asking 5x the actual value.

Thanks @tdn-dk and @Shabbaz for pointing out the reference error. Did the post on mobile and there is apparently no autocorrect for reference numbers ::shy::

I will post the remaining pictures later tonight when the kids are asleep. I will also try to do some editing to make them less washed out. Hopefully that will help, @77deluxe.

@Shabbaz are you referring to junk I have posted in the past or are you being more general?

No no. I was referring to the other 120's we saw lately. A lot of fake ones sadly...

I have updated the photos in the original post with versions that show a bit more contrast and sharpness.

And here are the additional photos of the caseback.

Regarding price @Shabbaz I would say that the price is alright now at about €1k , but since it is an auction who will know. I will keep an eye on it and hopefully I be able to provide it a warm and loving home.

Looks good to me. Good luck with the auction! The 120 is one of my favourite models and I was obsessed with them in the past. Now I'm over it after professional help...

I have seen them in the flesh but not worn one. Why do you ask?

Remember, when buying always count in the costs of a service. I have the feeling this watch was'nt serviced lately...

The photos in the OP are so blown out you have to look closely to see how dirty the movement is... But is sure looks dirty to me. Factor the disassembly/ cleaning into your potential purchase price.
