Hi all need some advice from you guys. I am thinking of flipping my 116613lb for a nice piece for my Son, something to pass down to him in the future like 20 years later. Something iconic and hopefully the value may appreciate abit in the future, I mean we all wanna leave the best we can for our kids right? And I shortlisted 2. One is the red SD43, preferably the so call mark1 dial or a Daytona 116520. Which one shd I focus my search on? And factoring in the Daytona cost abt 4K more. Would like to hear some of your views. Thanks and good day ahead!

Id find an unworn stickered up SD 50th and chances are it will only run so many years before discontinued like other anniversary models.

Yeah I’m thinking of this too. An all stickered up one. Since most AD are making it compulsory to remove stickers

True story. Are you UK based then? This practice of taking stickers off I think will spread from the UK AD’s to across the board. Shame because scenarios like yours it would be amazing to present a new 20 year old Piece to your son

Nope based in Asia. But all the greys are getting their stocks from Europe because of the vat

Took the plunge. Think I overpaid abit. But full sticker mark 1 dial
