I noticed some fairly deep scratches on my UG Tri-Compax crystal.

Anyone know what they are made of? Is it possible to buff out with polywatch or something else? Are there replacements available?

Where could I find generic replacements for a tri-compax crystal?

 

Fairly deep scratches may require the initial use of sandpaper or a coarse grit compound. Following that, you can iteratively move to finer grits, and finally to Polywatch.

Most likely your watchmaker could fit a generic replacement crystal.

 

Sandpaper + polywatch worked like a charm. Just have to be patient with it. Crystal looks brand new... Thanks! .... Still working on my photo skills
