    Hey all,

I've got a scratch on my 1861 movt' minute counter subdial, most likely as a result of the minute totalizer being too close to the dial. I've already run the chrono for a few hours, and it looks like it only happened once or the issue has resolved itself. Is it worth decasing the watch and reapplying the hands to make sure that the hands and totalizers don't continue to scrape and damage the dial?

Are you sure that is on the inside? I find it hard to believe that would scratch the Sapphire - or is this Hesalite?

It is a scratch on the dial itself, as he said. Nothing to do with the crystal.

Correct, issue is in the dial. You're only able to see it on the sunniest possibly day, when the light just hits it. I don't really have an issue with the scratch, but I'm just looking to make sure that the minute hand is secured well enough now that it won't damage the dial futher.

I ran the chrono for a further 4 hours and it hasn't happened again--
