there are several suspicious ebay listings of high value watches (Speedies and the like) offered by bidaway

It looks like this ebay identity was hijacked - the seller wants direct purchase through a linked page.

Looks like ebay have already taken them down as no watch listings now showing for that seller.

I had two auctions won by scammers last week. They snipe at the last second, win the auction and then come up with an excuse to send them a “request for money” through PayPal. They then have some system send you what looks like payment through PayPal and ask you to ship it. Frustrating that eBay can’t weed these folks out.

 

Oh fleabay... they could make it better. But why?

 

I saw these auctions. All were at about £8.88 or similar for stuff worth thousands with links inside to scam payment facilities.
